Where the stand sits
Take the walk from the stand to the door and split it against the way you are travelling. The bigger half names the row; both halves are always shown.

Colour carries size. Green and orange are brightest when the number is small, red when it is large.
Sorting
Least doubling back puts the stands you stop short of first, nearest miss leading, then detours by how far off your line they sit, then the stands past the door. Sorting only reorders the same four stands, so it costs nothing.
These metre figures are straight lines, so treat them as a direction, not a distance. The routed truth is the walk time.
